VIN Inspections
The Logan County Sheriff's Office will be charging a $5.00 fee for VIN inspections that are done at a home or business. If the vehicle is brought to the Sheriff's Office there is no fee charged for the inspection.
To arrange for a Certified Inspection, please contact the Logan County Sheriff's Office at 522-2578 or The Colorado State Patrol Office at 522-4696.
Effective August 2, 2019 the cost for a Certified Inspection will be $50.00. This cost is set by Colorado Revised Statute. Logan County has no control over this cost!!
To have a deputy come to your home or business, please contact the Sterling Emergency Communications Center at 522-3512 option 1.
Payment may be made in the form of cash.
